Frontiersmen Camping Fellowship

To give and to serve
What is FCF?
The National Royal Rangers office founded Frontiersmen Camping Fellowship, originally called Frontiersmen Camping Fraternity, in 1966 as a special honor society to give recognition to leaders and older Royal Rangers who had distinguished themselves in advancement, training and camping. FCF is based upon the lore and traditions of the courageous and determined early 1800’s frontiersmen who exhibited great ability in adapting to outdoor life in the wilderness. Men and boys in FCF learn primitive camping skills, open fire cooking, black powder shooting, knife and tomahawk throwing, and so much more.
The motto for FCF, “Ad Dare Servire,” means “To give and to serve”.
Tennessee’s Volunteer chapter of FCF held its first Trace in 1979. Greg Atwell (Crazy Wolf) has been president since 2006. Past presidents include Ralph Crass (Silver Eagle), Danny Rogers (Scrimshaw Dan), Mike King (Proprietor), and Jonathan Hendren (Crow Foot).
